Katie’s Way Plus is thrilled to announce the expansion of our partnership with BrainsWay Ltd., a global leader in advanced noninvasive neurostimulation treatments for mental health disorders. We have ordered an additional 18 Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Deep TMS™) systems, bringing our total network to approximately 40 Deep TMS systems. This significant acquisition underscores our unwavering commitment to providing lifesaving mental health care to active duty military members, veterans, and their families.
At Katie’s Way Plus, we understand the unique mental health challenges faced by our military communities. Since September 11, 2001, the prevalence of mental health conditions within the veteran community has risen drastically, with major depressive disorder cases increasing by 32%. Our mission is to address these challenges head-on by offering specialized, evidence-based care.
The expansion of our Deep TMS capabilities is a crucial step in this mission. Deep TMS is an FDA-cleared, noninvasive treatment that has shown remarkable efficacy in treating depression, including symptoms of anxious depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and smoking addiction. By incorporating these additional systems, we can extend our reach, offer renewed hope, and ultimately save more lives.
Jeff Mathis, Founder of Katie’s Way, established our organization in memory of his daughter, Katie, who tragically lost her battle with depression. Inspired by this profound personal loss, Jeff is dedicated to preventing other families from experiencing similar hardships. “The acquisition of these additional BrainsWay systems is a testament to our rapidly expanding network and enables us to extend our reach, offer hope, and ultimately save more lives,” said Mathis.
BrainsWay’s Vice President of Marketing, Chris Boyer, expressed his support, stating, “We are delighted to continue supporting Katie’s Way Plus in its pivotal mission of delivering specialized care to U.S. service members, veterans, and their families. The efficacy demonstrated by BrainsWay’s advanced Deep TMS technology in the treatment of depression is transformational. We are confident that the further expansion of this partnership will bring renewed hope and healing to countless families both in and out of uniform.”
Hadar Levy, Chief Executive Officer of BrainsWay, added, “The broadening of this important partnership reflects our continued success in attracting large enterprise customers nationwide. The synergistic alliance between BrainsWay and Katie’s Way Plus is poised to meaningfully impact the landscape of mental health care for military personnel, ensuring access to cutting-edge solutions tailored to their unique needs.”
Katie’s Way Plus remains dedicated to our mission of providing accessible, high-quality mental health care to those who have selflessly served our nation. This expansion marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we look forward to the positive impact it will have on the lives of our patients.
